Our Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs team

The OWCA Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs team continually networks with public policy makers and related industry contacts in an effort to influence prevailing thinking and stoke dialogue on issues that impact the workers’ comp and auto no fault industry from a public policy perspective.  By promoting support for an idea or action, we can help regulators and legislators develop policies which deliver the best results for our clients and their claimants. Our ideas become industry ideas.

What we do:

  • Educate regulators and legislators on the delivery of managed pharmacy, ancillary and medical care to injured workers and auto no-fault claimants in today’s marketplace
  • Promote best practices from a business and policy standpoint for maintaining and/or encouraging high-quality, efficacious and cost-effective care
  • Keep our clients informed of current legislative and regulatory changes and the impact of said activities on the management of services we are providing
  • Push positive ideas and solutions to address pressing needs, creating an environment benefiting payers and claimants alike
